So, you’re interested in becoming a Building Services Engineering Apprentice?
You may not have the experience yet, but you want to earn-as-you-learn, whilst gaining a qualification in a professional working environment, so why not give your career a kick start and join our BAM Apprenticeship Programme?
With this Apprenticeship you can complete a 4 year, Level 3 qualification in Building Services and Maintenance Engineering, whilst working with our BAM FM team on our Cranfield University site. The Campus consists of over 240 technical and residential buildings, it even has its own Airport.
Our Apprenticeship will be a full-time role from Monday to Friday.

“This exciting new opportunity sits within our FM team. Our Team provides Mechanical Maintenance services including heating, ventilation and air conditioning across our campus site. Our Team is comprised of Engineers qualified in Plumbing, heating, air conditioning and building management systems with a wealth of knowledge waiting to be shared”
Here is a flavour of the type of some of the reactive and planned maintenance activities you would be getting involved in:
• Air conditioning
• Air handling units
• Gas, Steam and Biomass boilers
• Residential boilers
• District heating systems
• Building management systems
What we’re looking for…
Early careers talent is really important to us here at BAM. We’re looking for people with passion and initiative. You will love working in a team, learn quickly and prioritise your workload. Learning a whole craft of skills across our plant.
You are only eligible to apply if:
You have lived in the UK/EEA for a minimum of three years consecutively
You have at least a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE grade C or 4)
You do not already hold a Level 3 qualification in the same subject
