Your role with us

This is an opportunity to work within our Finance Directorate and support the FCDO’s global network while you work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification. The Apprenticeship takes 16 months to complete, after which you will receive a Certificate in Business Administration. During the apprenticeship, you will receive ongoing support from your Apprenticeship Trainer and your FCDO Line Manager.

You will spend at least 20% of your time on apprentice-related training and assignments, covering everything from effective communication to stakeholder management and presentation skills. You will spend the rest of your time providing customer-focused support in office administration, transaction processing, projects, budgets, customer service and communications. We will assign you a role within the department based on your skills and experience.
