This role sits within the Equity Research Division, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The research teams produce leading research and aim to be the best research provider in the market by accurately identifying opportunities for client connection and target our resources accordingly.

A typical day

  • The Desk Assistant role primarily focuses on assisting the client connectivity team with implementing the market strategy broadly across the Equity Research department, providing valuable support to your super sector teams.
  • Working collaboratively with the super sector teams
  • Drafting and maintaining an accurate up to date marketing plan
  • Managing and arranging marketing schedules liaising directly with clients
  • Liaising with sales on the coordination and execution of marketing schedules
  • Centralisation of list management for the super sector
  • Running client connect campaigns for the super sector
  • Supporting the super sector on all new client initiatives
  • Attend team weekly team meetings and provide client updates/information
  • Understand the client base and use tools to improve client connectivity
  • Execute group events & conferences in collaboration with the client connectivity team
  • Collaborating to ensure diary management and travel accuracy

You must have

  • Five GCSE grades C – A* (4-9) or equivalent, including English and Maths
  • Three A levels at grades A*-C (or 240 UCAS points or new tariff equivalent)
