Apprenticeships at the National Grid
A National Grid Apprenticeship isn’t just about getting a job – it’s an opportunity to join a new generation of talent, charged with the destiny of shaping the future of energy. We’ll help you develop your skills through a combination of practical work and academic study, all the while providing you with the passion, skills and knowledge you need to power all our futures.
Whichever one of National Grid’s apprenticeship routes you decide to take, you’ll be choosing to start your career with us. You’ll be splitting your week between your place of work and your place of study.
We will cover your course fees, worth approximately £20,000, and you’ll earn a salary. At the end of each apprenticeship, you will complete an assessment, which tests both academic learning and occupational competence developed through on-the-job training.
