Are you looking to learn a skilled trade while earning and gaining a recognised qualification? Mitie Property Services is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Painter & Decorator to join our growing North West team.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills, gain valuable experience, and build a long-term career with one of the UK’s leading property services companies. Working alongside experienced decorators, you’ll receive full training in all aspects of painting and decorating across a variety of commercial, residential and public sector projects.
As an Apprentice Painter & Decorator, you will learn and assist with:
- Internal and external painting and decorating works.
- Surface preparation, including sanding, filling and minor repairs.
- Safe use and maintenance of painting and decorating tools, materials and equipment.
- Setting up and using access equipment following appropriate training.
- Installing protective coverings, temporary screening and access plant as required.
- Maintaining stock levels and ensuring materials are available when needed.
- Delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
- Working safely and complying with Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Supporting project teams to ensure works are completed on time and to a high standard.
