To participate in the ASPIRE program and gain work experience at Deloitte, you need to meet certain criteria. You must be in a state school in Year 12 (England or Wales), Year 13 (Northern Ireland), or S5 (Scotland). Additionally, you should meet one or more of the following criteria:

• The occupation of your main household earner when you were aged 14 is categorized as a lower socio-economic background.
• You are/have been eligible for free school meals.
• You attend a school that’s above the regional average in terms of the number of students eligible for free school meals.
• You would be the first member of your family to go on to Higher Education
• Deloitte aims to provide equal opportunities and access to the accountancy profession based on merit. The ASPIRE programs take place in London and Manchester, as well as virtually for those unable to attend in person.

The programs typically run in mid-July, and Deloitte covers reasonable travel costs for in-person events within a commutable distance.
