Entry Requirements

TfL apprenticeships vary by level, but here’s the general gist:

  • Level 2 apprenticeships (and up) typically require GCSEs in maths and English.
  • Level 4 or 5 schemes may need A-levels or equivalent qualifications.
  • Degree apprenticeships (Level 6) often look for strong academic results (A-levels or a Level 3 qualification) along with a keen interest in the field.

Don’t worry if you don’t meet all the criteria, TfL values enthusiasm, adaptability, and a willingness to learn just as much as academic achievements.
