What is a level 5 apprenticeship equivalent to?

A Level 5 apprenticeship is equivalent to a foundation degree, or a Higher National Diploma. Level 4 and Level 5 apprenticeships are higher apprenticeships but, while Level 4 is equivalent to the first year of a degree, an Level 5 apprenticeship is equivalent to a full foundation degree or an NVQ Level 4.

The requirements will vary, but you will most likely need good A-C A-Levels in maths and English and possibly in a subject related to your degree. For example, if you are applying for a web design level 5 apprenticeship, you may need a high grade in A-Level art.
