Role Overview:

As an Assistant Policy & Project Officer, you will provide general administrative assistance to project and policy work that supports all 32 London boroughs and the City of London. Your responsibilities will include arranging regular meetings, preparing and planning agendas, taking minutes, and liaising with speakers/presenters. Additionally, you will help organise events, conduct research, and contribute to topic papers and briefing notes.

The role is based near London Bridge, with the possibility of some remote work depending on team requirements and work commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Good organisational skills

Vacancies:

We are recruiting for two different teams:-

Rough Sleeping Project (Housing and Planning Team)

This team works with London Boroughs and external partners to find solutions to end rough sleeping and prevent street homelessness. Their work includes strategic planning, commissioning, facilitating multi-agency meetings and responses, lobbying with key partners to improve outcomes for vulnerable people, and more.

LEDNet Coordination (Transport and Environment Team)

This team collaborates with London Boroughs and external partners, such as the Greater London Authority (GLA) and Transport for London (TfL), to support the delivery of environmental priorities within the boroughs. Their work involves conducting research, delivering joint projects, and policy advocacy on a range of topics including climate change and adaptation, sustainable transportation, waste services, surface water flooding, and green spaces.
